2 weeks agoby readlittlemuslimsI love hearing feedback from parents of children as young as 18 months old, who love hearing the stories of #FaatimahandAhmed . Some of them already know some of the lines of the books off by heart, some of them make their parents change the names of the characters to their own names, because they *see* themselves in the characters, and many of them get lost in their own imagination, as a result of hearing about Faatimah and Ahmed and how they play and learn. #readlittlemuslims#alhamdulillah
5 days agoby readlittlemuslimsI really appreciate a good YA book, especially one about Muslims, by Muslims. This is Muslim Girl by @uzauthor . I love picture books, don't get me wrong, and going through them with my kids gives me so much joy. I love the words and illustrations so artfully combined, the deep yet subtle messages in each and every one of them.. But i think it's the teens out there that have it the toughest!
